"How to read the HPD Blotter..."

Finally, tonight, head over to Real Hartford for Kerri's hilarious musings and interpretations of the shorthand codes appearing on the Hartford Police Department blotter. One of my favorites:
Carry Dang Weapon sounds like an order thrown out when two siblings are heading out to rob a bank.

  1. And I thought I was only amusing myself with that post. I think it's extra funny for me because I spend so much time trying to teach students to write clearly, and then what goes on public record seems sloppy a lot of the time.
