The Hartford International Film Festival is now accepting submissions for narrative films (feature and short), documentary films (feature and short), experimental films (all lengths) and student films (all lengths). Deadline for entries is Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Download Submission Form.
Founded in 2004, the Capitol Cinema Collective is a grassroots organization of Hartford residents. Our goal has been to bring innovative movies to Hartford, a city with a rich cultural, political, and industrial history. The Collective has been providing regular screenings in our local coffeehouse and encouraging community filmmaking by showing the works of local artists and creating the "Lo-Res Fest".
But the city craves more, and therefore we have put together the Hartford International Film Festival. We are looking for all kinds of innovative films of any length and subject matter on any media.
