John McCain's "Get out of Gaffe Free!" card

Much needed laugh to end the work week and start the weekend: The Daily Kos has this post. It's a wonderful take on Monopoly's "Get Out of Jail Free" card, with a lovely list of ways Senator McCain can make use of it.

This card may be used as an excuse for:

1. Cheating on your 1st wife, to marry a a younger, richer one

2. Being a major player in the Keating 5 Scandal

3. Stating that you don't know about economic issues while running for president

4. Being known as being "angry" - to such an extent that fellow Congressmen (from your own party) question your mental stability to be president

5. Repeatedly mistaking "Shiite" for "Sunni" while at the same time claiming to be an expert on foreign policy

Perhaps we should print them up and hand them to our conservative friends for when they make excuses for the Senator. And speaking of Senators, let's not forget his best friendo, our shameless junior Senator, Joseph LIEberman. What's his excuse for being a traitor to his state and to his party? I'm sure all the "I'm sticking with Joe" bumper sticker touting assclowns are perfectly happy to still be with him.
