New play by Youth Play Institute premieres at Weaver Thurs., May 21

Our friends at HartBeat Ensemble are now in their third year bringing "urban and suburban youth together for an intensive play creation process taught by working theater professionals." This time around, they taught students from Weaver High School in Hartford and Conard High School in West Hartford. The product of this semester will be presented this Thursday, May 21st @ 7 pm in the auditorium of Weaver High School. From the release:

Who's to blame? is about four friends dealing with losing the one person who held the whole group together.
