Ladies and Gentlemen! I have given this a lot of thought, and I have finally figured out what plan this administration has for pulling us out of the Greatest Great Depression Part 2 ever. And it has nothing to do with lying about climate change or socialism or any of the other campaign promises! Think about it...what pulled us out of the New Deal-created Great Depression Version 1.0 that FDR started by passing Social Security? The non-Texas textbooks out there may have you thinking it was the second War to End All Wars, but NO. That was merely an excuse to be able to send all of our young men at peak libido years off thousands and thousands of miles away to get their baby-makers (did I use that right?) all primed and ready for a great sexy-time baby explosion upon their return. This was a REAL "stimulus plan" that created a Kaboom of some sort. A BABY KABOOM. All those exploded babies stimulated our economy so much that the 1950s happened and we now have our suburbs and highway system and Happy Days reruns. Brilliant.
So now, President Obama and his wide-eyed sidekick Nancy Pelosi saw that this was the best way to get their precious jobs, jobs, jobs. Make babies. NOT WITH EACH OTHER PEOPLE, GROSS. And not the usual way either. 9 months is just too long for this to happen, as the mid-term elections are simply too close, and forcing people into pillow-lined sex camps would have probably made the main-stream media take notice. So they had the greatest scientists in the land, the political scientists, come up with a plan to make babies some other way. And that way is to turn grown adults back into babies!
And the plan has worked to perfection. We now have the largest population of adult crybabies on the planet. By simply passing a moderately structured health-care reform law, one that was similar to what Nixon (NIXON!) proposed, or what Mittens Romney installed in the Commonwealth of Scott Brown (or one that would have happened with any good-faith negotiations to begin with), the Dems have turned a good portion of this country into diaper-wearing infants. The Republicans are holding their breath in Congress, saying "no" to anything and everything, and kicking and screaming all because of some simple legislative procedure. Yes, a large portion of our legislative branch are literally 2 year-olds. Literally. Even after Harry Reid cuts up their banana into small pieces, they just throw it on the floor and pout. C'mon, Eric Cantor...eat your health care. It's good for you!
And the temper-tantrums don't stop there: we have the tea party, attended by lots of babies, who like playing with dollies and drink imaginary tea. It is full of unemployed people who lost their health care when they lost their jobs so OBVIOUSLY they are mad as hell that the government is shoving affordable health care formula down their throats, the tyranny of it all. Also, they follow some shrieking banshee idiot around and throw bricks in windows, and racism. This is what the FOUNDING FATHERS did when they got laid off from silver-smithing or whatever.
So now that we, the adults, are the babysitters of this great nursery, let's gather, during nap time, to celebrate that our beautiful bouncing babies finally are sleeping through the night, and plan what the exploding industry of day care will do to our new, flourishing economy. Progressive Happy Hour, tonight around 9:30. Adult beverages and tasty taters will be served up at Red Rock Playground and Kenny's Gymboree. 369 Capitol Ave., Hartford, CT.
